The Best of 2011
Before I say hello to 2012, I’m taking a look back on everything that’s happened this year. Time sure does fly by doesn’t it?
JANUARY: This is usually my month because I celebrate my birthday on the 14th but I figure I should give way to my university’s celebration of its 400 year existence.
FEBRUARY: One word synonymous to this month would have to be...

Snow Falls from Six to Ten
We were sitting around the TV that night in Baguio and saw a news report about Baguio Country Club’s Christmas Village. With nothing planned that night, we decided to go ahead and check it out.
It started out with a Nativity play and then the choir sang as the lights started to come alive and the snow started to fall. It wasn’t real snow but it was close.
I guess that was...

Christmas at the North... Luzon
Every year, our family makes it a point to be together during Christmastime. We may spend it in Thailand or Manila but what’s sure is that we spend it together. This year we stayed at our ancestral home in La Union for the most part of the holiday season.
Here’s our barren Christmas tree. I didn’t bring my presents because I already opened them. :))
The highlight of the...

Animal Instinct
Had a quick shoot with Gian before our block’s Christmas party. I took her outfit photos as well which you can find here.
Eastwood bazaar top | H&M leather shorts | Eastwood bazaar wedges
Folded&Hung Necklace | Aldo watch
P.S. The leather shorts I’m wearing is the one I’m talking about in this post. Yes, my dad got them for me. The men in my life just amaze me.

Out of the Cold
And into the warm weather of Manila!
The family got home Monday night after a grueling 7-hour trip from La Union. Traffic was a killer but even though I was still a bit tired I went out with Joren the day after to celebrate our 14th month and exchange gifts.
We had lunch at Pho Hoa. He ordered rice noodles and I was hoping to eat my favorite glazed chicken but it was unavailable (Boo!) so I...

Christmas, Las Vegas Style
Our section had our annual Christmas party last Saturday. Correction: our last Christmas party with much emphasis on the word “last.” I still can’t wrap my head around the fact that we’re graduating in a few months.
The Christmas party was held at our classmate’s sort of penthouse. It was roomy and the decorations were nice and festive. I wish every single one of us...

Santa Claus in Pink
December 16, 2011
In lieu of the day’s festivities, our afternoon hospital duty was waved off. We still had to go to school at 1 in the afternoon for attendance though. Thankfully, we didn’t need to be in uniform so I came to school wearing this already:
Cotton On oversized button-up shirt | Thrifted skirt | Keziah wedges | Lancel sling bag
Thailand lock necklace | Folded...

Among The Fishes
Hi everyone! Thanks for all the well wishes, I have fully recuperated and am now able to eat all the food I want without inflaming my tonsils any further.
Tonight, I’ll be at UST to celebrate my last Paskuhan so I queued this post up. I hope you enjoy the little quirks this post has. :)
The trip to Isdaan, Tarlac was wholly unexpected. I thought we were going to eat at a place that...
Sorry for being MIA, been having a headache and a...

Here’re some of my recent acquisitions:
I got these at Eastwood on the day of my mom’s birthday. The ones below are from the boyfriend. So glad he though of me when he saw these. :>

Seeing Stripes
This is what I wore during my mom’s birthday lunch at Eastwood. Hype it?
Top from Cotton On | Shorts from Ducks Unlimited | Shoes from Cole Vintage
The top’s one of the blouses my dad got me at Singapore. I love how the men in my life know how to shop for me. ♥
Necklace from Forever21
My hair looks terrible in the photo. O_O It’s screaming for a hair cut but I’m not...

Hello, December
You’re already here and I haven’t even posted the last of my October vacation. Hahaha. Had a whirlwind of a day with IV medication preparations, CBG monitoring, charting and insulin administrations - all in the span of four hours. I love having the time fly by though, unlike during the afternoon which I’m going back to tomorrow. I’ll see you next week, morning and night...
