We’re Dancing On The Edge of the Hollywood Sign
It’s customary for high school students to have a Junior-Senior Prom. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to experience prom because I went to an all-girls high school that didn’t hold one for its students. Luckily, I got the chance to experience something quite like it during our graduation ball last March 24.
The ball was held at Grand Terrace, Commonwealth Avenue. Initially, the census was around a hundred fifty guests but it boomed to three hundred plus so it got a little crowded. Either way, the place looked magnificent and so did everyone.

Can you guess what the theme was?
My friends and I started to have our make up done at around 2pm. We ended at around 5:30 and the call time was six! We thought we were extremely late already but when we got to the venue, only half the guests have arrived. Pros? Joren was able to get a parking spot. Cons? We weren’t able to take pictures at the house.

Unfortunately my pretty rings can’t be seen in the photo :(
I had these fabric rosettes done by my gown’s designer. My mom put them in after I had my make up and hair done by Mark & Meryl of Ricky Reyes. I felt like a different person that night thanks to their work.

How matchy-matchy were we? Joren wanted us to look like a pair so he wore a long-sleeved shirt that complemented my gown’s color with a pocket square he requested from my gown’s designer.
I was so surprised when he asked me to dance when the first slow song came on. It was Runaway by The Corrs, the same song that was playing during our first Valentine’s Day as a couple.
Onto more pictures of the night!

Slow songs over, the real party begins!

There came a point when I had to give my feet a break from the dancing and the five inch heels. So we took pictures instead. We hit the dance floor again until the morning came. It was an unforgettable night.
